Cabinet with large, square shaped legs and two doors with a removable center piece, two drawers and a simple spandrel. This cabinet traditionally was called a "cabinet for silver and gold" and was used to store silver and gold money.

Wanli Chest
The first of this type of chest was made in the Ming, Wanli Dynasty. Later, chests were made to imitate this style and these chests are called "Wanli Chests". The top part of the chest is always open with carved decoration on the borders. Carved panel at the bottom. All parts, hinges and metal plates are original.

Money Chest
