| Rain Dragon Antiquities has been in existence for six and a half years. The structure of our company is unlike most export or antique businesses, in that we have both Chinese and American partners. In Beijing, Mr. Yang, a noted antique expert who has his own shop, supervises all purchases, restorations, and shipping. This situation provides Rain Dragon a complete understanding of the original condition of a piece and control over methods and materials used in restoration. On the U.S. side, Betsy Louton and Nancy Sayer manage our Tacoma warehouse and also travel to China to purchase modern items.
Rain Dragon periodically brings Mr. Yang to Tacoma to present informal talks on antique Chinese furniture and porcelain. During these presentations there is time for questions and answers, as well as authenticating pieces brought in by audience members.
